It's summer, the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities and stay out in the sun. It's the perfect bonding time for family and friends while going to the places like Boracay, Puerto Galera and many others in able to stay cool and relax this season.
Here are some reminders when working out in the sun:
* Don't wait until you're thirsty before getting a drink. By then you're already dehydrated. Drink lot of fluids - especially water, juice and non-caffeinated drinks 15 minuts before your workout and every quarter of an hour throughout the exercise.
* Try to avoid staying under the sun from 10 AM to 3 PM when its rays are at its fiercest. This will be caused skin cancer and other skin disorders.
* Wear clothes that are cool and light. Cotton allows your body to breathe and light colors do not absorb heat as much as dark colors. This clothes and be comfortable.
*Don't forget to apply sunscreen (or sunblock) even when the day is overcast. Sunburn affects your body's ability to stay cool.
